Drawing inspiration from ‘The Incredible Shrinking Man’ by Richard Matheson, Shrink examines our ability to be individual. The flexible yet diminishing space encourages a physical dialogue to be adopted amongst the dancers as their proximity constantly minimises. The ever-contracting sci-fi landscape sees them tussle through flailing states of lax and rebel independence, eventually surrendering to the rhythmic rigour and homogeny of structure.
