Split Screen is a dance theatre experiment that divides the stage in half. On one side ‘The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde’ by Robert Louis Stevenson is re-enacted through a minimalistic post-modern lens whilst the other side tells a highly physicalised and supernatural interpretation of the text. By giving equal weight to both dance and theatre, the work separates, syncs and merges different artistic forms to communicate our dichotomy.
